SWIFTCRATES โ TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to SwiftCrates! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your rental and use of moving crates and related services provided by SwiftCrates ("we," "us," "our"). By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
SwiftCrates rents out reusable plastic moving crates and dollies on a weekly basis. Our packages are designed based on apartment/home size and include free delivery and pickup within designated service areas.
2. RENTAL TERMS & FEES
- Weekly Rental Packages: Options include Studio (15 crates + 1 dolly), 1BR, 2BR, 3BR, and 4BR, each priced accordingly per week.
- Minimum Rental: 1 week. Partial weeks are billed as full weeks.
- Rates: Prices are visible on swiftcrates.com and are subject to change without prior notice, excluding confirmed orders.
3. DELIVERY & PICKUP
- Delivery & Pickup: Included with each rental. We deliver to and pick up from your selected address at scheduled times.
- Access Requirements: You or an authorized adult (18+) must be present. If no one is available, a $50 re-delivery fee may apply.
- Stairs: May incur additional handling fees. Please confirm during booking.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Care & Custody: You assume responsibility for all equipment upon delivery.
- Return Condition: Crates must be returned clean and free of stickers, tape, food, liquid, or debris.
- Cleaning Fee: $50 per crate may be charged if crates are returned dirty or damaged.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed 50 lbs per crate.
5. EXTENSIONS & LATE RETURNS
- Rental Extensions: Must be arranged before your pickup date; standard weekly rates apply.
- Late Fees: Charged at the current weekly rate for any late returns.
- Unreturned Equipment: After 30 days without contact, equipment will be deemed purchased and charged at full retail replacement value.
6. REPLACEMENT FEES
- Crates: $25 each
- Dollies: $125 each
- Other Accessories: Billed at listed replacement value
7. PROHIBITED USES
Crates and accessories must not be used for:
- Storage of hazardous materials (e.g., paint, solvents, batteries)
- Perishable goods or food
- Liquids or wet items
- Animals or plants
- Any illegal or unauthorized purposes
8. PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment Processor: All payments processed securely through Stripe.
- Authorization: You authorize us to charge your card for the initial rental and any additional fees (late, replacement, cleaning).
- Disputes: Must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the charge.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- SwiftCrates is not liable for loss or damage to customer property.
- Our total liability is limited to the rental fees paid.
- We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic, natural disasters).
10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SwiftCrates, its employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from misuse of our equipment or violation of these Terms.
11. MODIFICATIONS
- We may update these Terms at any time by posting revisions on our website.
- Your continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Rentals in progress will be governed by the version of Terms in place at the time of booking.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration, where permitted by law.

14. SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the full agreement between you and SwiftCrates concerning the rental of equipment.
BY PLACING AN ORDER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THESE TERMS.
